Nicola Markham
BA Hons. P.G.C.E (Writer, actor, director)

Nicola was born in Blackpool and trained at Mountview Theatre School, London. After which, she worked as an actress for eight years before embarking upon a career in teaching. Nicola's theatre credits include Laura Clapton in Frank Desires at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Rose of Sharon in the Grapes of Wrath, a national tour playing the role of Martha in The Secret Garden and three tours playing Nicola in Girls' Night Out which also ran for eight weeks at The Victoria Palace Theatre in London's West End. Nicola also played Cinderella, Snow White and Princess Jasmine in Christmas Pantomimes. With both a passion for teaching and performing Nicola now enjoys the merits of both with the formation of In 2 Act Theatre Company.

Vanessa Peers
BA Hons. ( Director, Actor, Marketing Director)

Vanessa grew up in Bury, Lancashire and trained at London's Mountview Theatre School graduating in 1991. She has been working as a professional actress since. Her television credits include Coronation Street, Heartbeat, Band of Gold and Prime Suspect and is currently enjoying working doing voice overs for T.V and radio. She has extensive experience in theatre and theatre in education working for such companies as Channel Theatre Company, Paul Farrah Productions and Kinetic Theatre for Science and has played many varied roles from 'Nuns to Chickens!!'. Her enjoyment of live theatre has been a motivation in setting up In 2 Act Theatre Company.
